2020 Vaccination Campaign

The Ministry has implemented a National Agenda for all citizens where they can schedule to get vaccinated in any centre of the country.

Below we inform the STAGES and clarify that the Agenda will be enabled for the second stage of the campaign and the entire population must schedule through this new global and national system.

STAGE 1

Vaccination will be exclusively for:

HEALTH EMPLOYEES

• INPATIENTS

• PREGNANT WOMEN

• PATIENTS WITH SEVERE CHRONIC DISEASES: EPOC and asthma, diabetes, cardiac pathologies (heart attacks, congenital heart defects), immunosuppressed patients, severe neuromuscular diseases (Ex. cerebral palsy, ALS)

For this stage, the National Agenda is not enabled. Our members, who qualify with the aforementioned conditions, must be scheduled directly at the Hospital, through tel. 24871020 ext. 2740

Patients in the ELDER ADULT PLAN (as usual) and patients who are currently undergoing chemotherapy will be vaccinated at home.

Members who are in this first stage (Stage 1) and for major reasons cannot attend to be vaccinated, can call the Scheme Department (ext. 2201) to coordinate the home visit. Our doctors will confirm in the Clinical History if the patient suffers from the referred chronic disease.

In our vaccination centre all measures will be taken to avoid crowds and we request the greatest collaboration of all patients.

STAGE 2

Appointments must be made through the National Agenda for all centres in the country and the agendas will be opened on the date that the MSP determines. You can access it through the web and the MSP will enable an 0800 line.

This stage is staggered as follows:

  • OVER 75 YEARS: from 13th of April,
  • OLDER THAN 65 YEARS: from 24th of April,
  • CHILDREN FROM 6 MONTHS OLD TO 5 YEARS OLD: 1th of May,
  • ALL REST OF THE POPULATION: 8th of May onwards

Appointments must be made through the National Agenda for all centres in the country and the agendas will be opened on the date that the MSP determines (approximately 20th of April).

Our vaccination centre will have very limited places to schedule our members directly. For this reason, we request that they also be scheduled through the National Agenda and choose our centre. There, the quotas will be greater.

In our Vaccination centre, measures will be taken to avoid crowds, therefore we are requesting the collaboration of users.

(!) In the case of patients who have contracted the COVID 19, it’s recommended to wait from 2 to 3 weeks after the last symptom get vaccinated (according to their own time frame).
